Designed using the Tuscan model of elegant holiday architecture, "I palazzi"  were built as summer homes for local nobility. 

Villa Marinacce-Cavallacce is one such villa, set in the heart of the ancient village of Oletta and overlooking the Gulf of St. Florent.The region of Cap de Corse is a peninsula that comes alive in the summer, known for its beaches and summer restaurants.

The Florentine Palazzo was built in 1887 for the Jean-Baptiste-Marinacce Cavallacce, a notable French foreign diplomat. Today, the 19th century home has been restored to its original glamour as a holiday retreat. 

Spanning 4000 square feet, the 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom is designed as a comfortable family home, with communal living and entertaining spaces (including offices and games rooms), and lots of cozy details. A lounge with a fireplace flanks the authentic kitchen and bar, and opens out to the sunset-facing terrace.
