This Manor Was Built for a British Empire Fair in 1924. Then Someone Took It Apart and Moved It to Devon

A 1925 English manor built as a full-scale showcase for oak construction at the British Empire Exhibition was later taken apart piece by piece, moved to Devon and rebuilt on a hillside above Salcombe. Today, Falconers stands in seven acres of gardens believed to have been designed by Gertrude Jekyll.
