A restored 17-acre farm estate overlooking Lake Valfabbrica in Umbria, Italy, has come to market for €1,600,000 with Italy Sotheby’s International Realty.
Umbria is often called the “green heart of Italy,” a landlocked region of rolling hills, wooded valleys, olive groves and medieval hill towns between Tuscany, Lazio and Le Marche. It has much of the same landscape that has made Tuscany internationally famous, but remains quieter and less saturated by tourism.
The property sits in the Chiascio River valley near Casacastalda, between Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio. From its elevated position, it looks across Lake Valfabbrica toward the medieval Castello di Biscina.
