A 1920s English Stone House and Gardens Reimagined in the French Country-House Style
Built in the 1920s for the daughters of a shipping magnate, the house was described as “a mean, miserable little house” when purchased in 1997. It was rebuilt in the early 2000s with French country-house influences, a Lutyens-inspired courtyard and formal gardens.
